Employer Tuition Benefits
Is your employer helping pay your tuition? Here’s what you need to know.
If your employer or another agency authorizes a billing under its tuition benefit plan and will pay the tuition directly to Elmhurst College, service charges relating to the payment will be waived or removed provided the payment is received within six weeks of the beginning of the term. Under such plans, payment of the charges cannot be dependent upon grades or course completion.
Tuition Reimbursement Plans
Some employers reimburse employees for tuition costs after the end of the term. Provisions for these types of reimbursement plans vary from one employer to another.
To participate in a tuition reimbursement plan, students must submit a letter from the employer for each term of registration. Students receiving reimbursement from their companies have the full amount of the term tuition deferred until after the end of that term.
