Students in Elmhurst’s Department of Education are eligible to apply for a number of special scholarships.

Other Scholarship Opportunities

The Elmhurst branch of AAUW is running the Returning Student Scholarships (3) for $3,500 this spring semester. Eligibility requirements include identifying as a woman, residing in Elmhurst, Addison, Bensenville, Berkeley, Northlake, Oak Brook, Oakbrook Terrace, or Villa Park, being 23 years or older, and have completed at least 12 credit hours of college coursework.

Application Deadline: April 3, 2026 at 5:00 p.m.

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

The Naperville branch of AAUW has opened the Angeline Gale Scholarship ($5,000) and the STEM Scholarship ($5,000) for this semester. Eligibility requirements vary slightly between the two, but generally, applicants must identify as female or non-binary and reside in or attend school in DuPage, Will, Kendall, or Kane County. Please see applications (linked below) for specific eligibility criteria per award.

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

Citizens wants to honor the dedication of students and families pursuing higher learning! Fill out the registration form to be entered for a chance to win a Grand Prize of $15,000 to use towards school expenses and one of the $2,500 monthly prizes! Additionally, each quarter a student who meets the required criteria for the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Scholarship Prize will be eligible to win a $2,500 quarterly prize for use towards school expenses.

Scholarship Application

This scholarship is for Illinois residents who are Sophomores or Juniors and have a GPA of at least a 3.0. Eligible applicants are majoring in one of the following areas of study: Agriculture, Agronomy, Botany, Conservation, Ecology, Environmental Studies, Floriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, Land Management, Landscape Design, or Sustainability.

Application Deadline: June 1, 2026

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

Current undergraduate/graduate students pursing a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics are encouraged to apply. A minimum Cumulative GPA of a 3.5 is required.
