Mark Harbold is a teacher, composer, author and performing musician. Recent publications include his Instructor’s Resource Manual to Accompany LISTEN (9th ed., W.W. Norton, 2019) and piano accompaniments for the Suzuki Bass School, Vol. 6 (2nd ed., Alfred, 2019). He previously taught at St. Olaf, Roberts Wesleyan and several other colleges. At Elmhurst, Doc Harbold has taught courses in music theory, history, technology, appreciation, Indian music and composition. He supervises the music history program and co-coordinates the theory/composition program. He received the President’s Award for Excellence in Teaching in 1994 and was a 2017–18 Fulbright-Nehru Scholar. Find more details on his website.
